Hi, I’m Joy
I’m a French language teacher, passionate about helping students grow — not just linguistically, but in confidence. Based in Brussels, I’ve taught students from around the world. My lessons are dynamic and student-centered: you’re never just following a textbook, you’re actively building the skills you actually need.
I love languages and travel, and that curiosity for other cultures shapes how I teach. I build a genuine relationship of trust with each student, because real progress happens when learning feels engaging, not like a chore.

- 6 years of experience teaching private French lessons, across all levels (A1 to C2)
- Master’s degree in Pedagogy & Didactics, and a Master’s degree in Phonetics & Pronunciation
- 3 years as a literacy trainer and pedagogical coordinator at a Belgian non-profit (ASBL)
- Experience training professionals across a wide range of sectors — including hospitality, luxury, the military, NATO, and the European Commission
This mix of academic training and real-world teaching across very different environments means I can adapt quickly — whether you need everyday conversational French or precise, professional vocabulary for a specific field.
